Chesapeake Bay–Eastern Shore Elegance
After presenting my scouting shots of this Maryland gem, my Editor-in-Chief loved the idea of helping the owners create their B&B… and a bonus for me and my design team— while prepping the house, we got to stay at the location and experience the delicious home-made pastries each morning and then some.
One of several bathrooms at the B&B- this one we dressed with classic ivy and a crisp green stripe. The sink skirt’s shirred upper edge is attached with hook and loop tape to the apron for easy removal and cleaning.
Creating a worthy footnote–
I fused by-the-yard, iron-on adhesive onto the wrong side of large cabbage roses cut from another fabric. The roses are scattered onto the lower edge of skirt and shower curtain, fused again and trimmed along the lower edge to create a new meandering garden path edge. Watch your step!
